As a Support Worker, you play a vital role in empowering people with disabilities
to live fulfilling, independent, and meaningful lives.
This induction will walk you through everything you need to know before you start supporting
participants in our programs and out in the community.

- Respectful – you treat all participants, families, and colleagues with kindness and dignity.
- Professional – you follow policies, report incidents promptly, and uphold confidentiality at all times.
- Engaged – you participate in activities, support independence, and help our participants enjoy their day.
📋 Before You Begin
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (current and verified)
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Uploaded all documents to ShiftCare
- Signed your Employment Contract and Code of Conduct
🚗 On the Job
- Arrive on time and in appropriate attire (Sunflower shirt and name lanyard).
- Have your vehicle ready—clean, fueled, and insured for transport shifts.
- Bring your participant details and shift notes.
- If there are any incidents, changes, or concerns, report them immediately using the Incident Report Form (scan the QR code on your lanyard).
